March for Change - Ireland's Major Group for Cannabis Reform

This 420 we ask you to join the Major Group for Cannabis Reform as we ‘March For Change’ down Dublin’s historic O’Connell Street & on to Dáil Éireann to campaign for #CannabisReformIreland 

With the help of our friends and fellow activists @caaireland @pfsa_ireland @ssdpofficial & @dublincannabisclub we aim to raise awareness about the harms of prohibition while advocating for safe access to whole plant cannabis for all.  

The March for Change is one of many cannabis related events taking place across the country this April (watch this space for details about Major Picnic, Phoenix Park). And, it’s your opportunity to show the media & government that the public want cannabis reform now!  

Speakers on the day include @ginotdkenny from @people_before_profit who has advocated for medicinal cannabis access for many years within Dáil Éireann and continues to support patients as he seeks to expand access to MCAP.  

Also on the day is @pam_barnes81 who’s son Ryan holds a ministerial license for cannabis but can’t afford the cost of his prescription. If the Irish government expanded the criteria for MCAP to include chronic pain then Ryan would qualify and have the cost of his medicine reimbursed.  

Finally, @endowithaimee_blog will speak about the lack of access for patients whose conditions aren’t recognised as a qualifying condition for MCAP and the struggle to find a medical professional willing to prescribe cannabis to her under the ministerial license.
